A magical new design

Dear Louisville,

Labor Day Weekend is upon us and while that may signal the unofficial end to summer, I think Mother Nature is ending it with a bang. The temps feel more like July than September, but it still shaping up to be a beautiful weekend for World Fest. I hope you find time over the long weekend to visit the Belvedere and enjoy one more great event there before the transformation begins.

And speaking of transformation, we are overwhelmed with the response to the new design for the Belvedere. We think it is highly functional, easily programmable, and absolutely magical. A brilliant combination!

But just because the design has been finalized, that does not mean we aren’t still interested in hearing what you think. For the next few years, while construction is happening, we will be developing the programming plan for the park. That is when we will be considering what types of events to host and the frequency, what specific partners can help us reach the broadest audience, and what the logistics will be for people who want to have their own events at the Belvedere. Your thoughts and ideas will help bring the Belvedere to life.

So let us know – what do you want to see and do at the Belvedere?

Partner Spotlight - Bernheim Forest

There are few local institutions as beloved as Bernheim Forest and we are thrilled to be partnering with them on the design for the nature play space that will be at the Belvedere. If you want to learn more about nature playgrounds and see the biggest and best in our region, there is no better play to spend an afternoon than at Bernheim!
